As of yesterday there were 27 envelopes mailed out to would-be, could-be, do you wanna-be  sponsors. In each one I mailed out a sponsorship proposal and photos from my past two competitions.  I have also completed two sponsorship applications online and sent in a proposal to Scivation via their  “contact us ” page.   I received a very polite e-mail back with an even more polite decline. Rob  Moran did ask  me to send in a formal resume and photos to keep on file.

Now, I could have received this decline, tucked tail and ran. Instead, Mr. Moran, you’ll be receiving my formal resume and photos to keep on file for future reference. By no means am I naive. I’ve worked in a corporate setting before and know my resume and photos  may sit in the back of a file for the next ten years but if I don’t chase this dream; who the hell’s going to do it for me? Not a soul. No one. Nobody.

Anyhow, including the letters mailed out and the three completed online that leaves me another 30+ companies to send proposals to. =)
