Oblique Exercises and Marciano Shoe Box Waistlines

I trained back with Amanda today and am bound to be super sore by tomorrow. I think the dead lifts did me in but that’s a great feeling of accomplishment. It’s the small things that make me happy!lol

Although I won’t begin my contest diet for a couple of months I’m having some issues with my waistline. Every abdominal exercise I do breaks the  midline and I don’t do anything with weights except for crunches because my waistline keeps expanding.  I’ve done twists until I was dizzy and it’s not coming in. If I lay off of the exercises I’m not sure what will happen. I’m going to do some research on this…

I looked at photos of myself in 2009 before I began competing and even at 144lbs and 25% body fat my waistline was smaller.  It didn’t look like a shoe box as my friend Vince would say.
